Student Reviews for Foot Health Practitioner + 11 Clinic Days Training Course
I have recommended my friend who is now doing the Foot Health Practitioners course with you at the moment, I left Spain last year and started working in the Cardonald Therapy Centre in Glasgow and now have about 300 clients in my books, that is including 2 nursing homes as well as domicile clients. I enjoyed the course but looking back I would have liked to have worked on more clients whilst on the course, but I have taken everything on board that Bernard taught and have used it to build a very sucessful business here in Glasgow. The reason why Stephanie is doing the course is that I am now returning to Spain to work part-time and leaving the business here for Stephanie who will be very popular with my clients.

I want to do something different when I take semi retirement in 3 years time, but, being a Nurse, still want the caring aspect to play a part in whatever I chose. I came across the course on line, and felt that it could well meet my needs.
It sure has! The distance-learning course was ideal as I could fit it around my full time work and complete it at my own pace. Having a Nurse background was a help but every module was explained so well that I do not think anyone would have a problem gaining the knowledge required. In fact I know so! During the practical week I met people from all walks of life, ranging from an engineer to a bank clerk. Everyone passed with flying colours! I'm not at all surprised as everything was so well planned and out tutor was knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. The college building itself looked new, with very modern facilities and, of course, Bude just outside the door.
My business is now growing at the rate I want it to. Because I already have a full time job I need to keep tight control on the number of clients I have. Since the start of the business, ten weeks ago, I have built up 28 clients on my books. Eventually I shall build to about 80 which will give me 2-3 days work per week.
I have no hesitation in recommending the course to anyone.

Great Course - very user firendly, there was great support from the guys at Stonebridge.
The resources and facilities for the course were great and very modern, a nice place to be. We were all made to feel important, a fantastic group of people. We became good friends and have been in touch since the course to encourage and support each other.
The course was brillaint!!!! I would not hesitate to recomend Stonebridge.

I found the course fantastic, it was taught at a steady pace, but we learnt a lot in that amount of time. It was very intense but Bernard is a very good teacher and made it understandable and interesting. You could be a complete beginner on this course yes. I got all what I wanted from the course and cant wait to start up my business as a fhp.
I found the classroom very ultra modern, it had all the facilities we needed to train and it was very clean and new looking.
We were all treated as individuals, it was perfect. The other students were very nice and we all got on well, we all stayed in the student accommodation so we went home together every day and had dinner and evening chats together. The course was a joy and yes I did come out buzzing everyday.
The course overall was excellent, I’m so glad I picked Stonebridge to do my training. You have a fantastic teacher who made the training relaxed and fun even though it was very intense and tiring.

I found the practical side of the Foot Health Practitioner course very intensive, I did the course as a beginner and I got exactly what I wanted out of this course, fabulous tutor! The classroom facilities were very modern. I looked forward to going to class every day, everyone was lovely and I made some great friends. Overall in my opinion everything was to a very high standard – including the student accommodation.

I thought that the course was excellent. The pace was right but challenging. I felt that the theory also made a lot of sense when undertaking the practical. I now feel inspired and am starting to get everything ready for looking after people’s feet.
The classroom and facilities were absolutely first class. I loved the whole experience. The other girls on the course were very friendly and Bernard was a fantastic teacher. I only wish that I had completed this course years ago. It was a really good experience and I cannot wait to start my own practice.

I really enjoyed the theory element of the course, it was clear, precise and very well laid out. A complete begginer would understand the clear language, I gained exactly what I needed to succeed. The classrom/clinic was fantastic, every bit like a clinic. It was very personal and pracitcal with great learning facilities and resources, all up to date. Bernard Pink was great and an excellent tutor.
I loved every minute of my course. The other students were great, supportive and fun. Spent evenings learning and sharing our thoughts for the day. The student accomadation facilities we fantastic, clean and well furnished. Take the family there for a holiday! It is a great place to study. Excellent, welll done Stonebridge and staff, especially Bernard Pink.

The Foot Health course was of great relevance. It was more intense than I had anticipated it to be and I did find it fairly hard myself. I think it was helpful to have almost completed your theory work before attending the practical course as it did give you a good insight to all the conditions covered on the practical week. The Foot Health course was very progressive giving you the opportunity to progress.
I think the classroom was modern, light and comfortable with good quality equipment. It was exceptionally clean. I looked forward to going to class, but did have one bad day myself, but the tutor and my classmates were very supportive and I managed to get through it with their help! You had good individual tuition being in a small group, which was great for me. We all met up afterwards and hope to continue that in the future.
I have enjoyed the whole course and would recommend Stonebridge to others. My daughter is just starting your diet and nutrition course!

The course was challenging, but so rewarding. It allowed you to really understand the whole concept of Foot Health Care. The classroom and tutor was brilliant – bright, clear and modern. The practical area was very professional.
Our class was a great mix of people ranging from 21 – 53 and yet everyone gelled. We were treated as adults learning a profession. I loved every second and everything learnt during the theory, everything just started clicking into place. We all stayed in touch.
This has been a fantastic experience from the 1st course book to earning a diploma. I’s do it again! The feeling of self achievement was unbelievable and I’ve made 7 new friends with the same goal – to be a good Foot Health Practitioner – Thank you!

I was a complete beginner starting this Foot Health Practitioner course but it was well structured. I found it relatively easy to understand. The classroom was a great modern building. Excellent tutor. Fab!
Total of 7 students in our class who all got on extremely well in class and at the student house we shared. All given individual attention from Bernard and more if needed – never too much trouble. 11 days pass so quickly. We have a fantastic time.
At 43 I was apprehensive at going back to education but once I started my worries were quickly put aside. Accommodation was provided for the practice training and we all “de-briefed” in the evening. We all helped each other – such a brilliant group!
With many thanks to Bernard.

The teaching was excellent, the building was modern and created a relaxed learning environment. The practical teaching was clear and well thought out. The resources and facilities we very modern and clean. It was light and airy and a nice place to learn.
I looked forward to class and come out tired as a full day of learning was needed. I was treated very well and found the other course members friendly too.
I was very impressed by the college and would recommend it to other potential students who wanted to do a Foot Health Practitioner course. I am very pleased I chose to become a Foot Health Practitioner!

We started immediately, and every day was a full day. The Foot Health Practitioner course opened my eyes and I have learnt so much. It was a totally brilliant experience for me. I overcame all of my anxieties with the excellent help and encouragement from a brilliant tutor. I am very pleased I did the modules first, they defiantly helped, although I have not completed 11 and 12 yet. I am now looking forward to a fantastic future many many thanks.
The classroom was modern, bright and perfect. Every day was a joy. Hard word but expected. I was definitely treated as an individual, everyone was a total delight and we met up in the evenings and are going to keep in touch.
I feel very proud of myself. Thank you.

The Foot Health Practitioner course was very relevant, although tiring and intense. The course was not easy, but due to the tutor’s (Bernard) skill as an instructor, his patience and humour, he made the course fun which eased things considerably. I feel a beginner is more than capable of achieving this course with hard work.
The classroom was modern, warm, and extremely clean and comfortable with all requirements and equipment catered for. The class size of six was perfect, allowing for high quality instruction. The group were keen and were great fun to be with. We were treated with courtesy at all times. Extremely enjoyable course.
Due to Bernard’s high quality teaching I feel ready and able to get “stuck in” as a Foot Health Practitioner, a little nervous maybe, excited definitely. Now that I have a solid foundation, practice and experience will push me forward. Thank you!

All the information was very relevant in the Foot Health Practitioner course; learning at my own pace was very good. I had a little basic knowledge prior to doing the course. I am sure that I will be able to progress in the future. The foot clinic was excellent, modern, clean and friendly.
I loved going to the clinic every day. Bernard was and excellent tutor, very friendly and made everything we had to learn easy. Loved the other 5 people there and we all got on well. I am thrilled that the age group was compatible.
The whole home study Foot Health Practitioner course was excellent, I have enjoyed the whole experience and I think Bernard was the best. xx

The Foot Health course was great – it was full of information. Things were explained brilliantly and the demonstrations were very helpful. The training centre was clean, tidy and neat throughout and was a very warm environment. The class sizes were just right and the support was very good. My class mates were very friendly and we all shared our views with the whole class.
This was a brilliant learning experience. I really enjoyed it. There was a lot to take in, but it was all worth it. The teacher, Bernard, was dull of knowledge and information. I am glad I picked this course.

I write to you today with much appreciation regarding the Foot Health Course I just finished on January 7, 2011.
I very much enjoyed doing the written section of the course, but have to say that I found the practical course so enlightening and enjoyable. This was due mainly to it being a small classroom of students and a fantastic lecturer that gave us plenty of client’s feet disorders to attend to as well as his patients. I feel I took in a great deal more from his lectures and his first hand experience that he had to share with us, even supposing he could not understand my Irish accent. Lol
I have only been back home two weeks and have since started in a business as a mobile foot practitioner and am very much enjoying my new career. I had 6 clients by the time I finished the course and now have 17 and it’s only been a week since I actually started. The work here in Aberdeen seems to be coming in fast, though I knew with my market research that there was great demand here.
We were asked if we found anything that may be of interest or help to other students, to write in and share it with them. I found through searching the Internet the cheapest place to purchase flyers, I have just purchased 5000 for £40.37 from the following website: www.onlineprinters.com. I have also found another site where you get great deals and sometimes as much as 250 business cards free from the following website: www.vistaprint.com.
Once again thank you for helping me succeed into my new career.
Yours Sincerely,
Paul Anderson

The course theory is very well designed although the business part dealing with research, setting up and operating the Foot Health Practice is based on the UK geographical setting, it is still useful for and applicable to any part of the world with due local adaptation relating to the rules and regulations, currencies in use and of course the country people. I have enjoyed studying the course online and am nearing completion. I am very satisfied and expecting to take the practical part in UK soon. How much Foot Health is important, many people are not aware or just ignore. This branch of medicine in Foot Health practice will contribute a lot to sensitize its awareness to people engaged in various activities particularly with the advent of Diabetes Mellitus, type 2, affecting a largely growing number of people worldwide.

I got a lot from the Foot Health course, it was intense at times but Mr Pink (the tutor) varied the tuition which made it easy to understand and built my confidence. The classroom was bright, airy and spotless. The accommodation was excellent, spotless warm and I found it really easy to relax with all the usual home comforts catered for.
I looked forward to each day and though knackered by the end, left with eager anticipation for the next day to begin. The other students were wonderful and supportive. A big thank you to Mr Pink, he is “amazing”! Also the rest of the team, everything from organising accommodation, extra equipment and of course the sandwiches were excellent too. Many thanks to you all.

The course content for the Foot Health Practitioner course was well presented. It was Quiet tiring and full on but worthwhile. With good confidence building client sessions. I feel I will progress from now and the course was up to my expectations and beyond. The facilities were ultra modern, there was a great atmosphere with the tutor Bernard and the outside clients. A joy to work there, everything was well thought out and efficient.
There was a great group of fellow students. We all got on well and this added to the experience at Bude. Six students all from mixed backgrounds. We will keep in touch (and have already done so).
The course at Bude was excellent, professional and hard work. It has helped me with my confidence and practical skills way beyond what I felt I would achieve. Not to be missed!

The practical course was essential to the whole course. I got an enormous amount of skills, confidence and knowledge which totally supported all of the theory that I learnt during the Foot Health Practitioner course.
The clinical and classroom were a fantastic environment to work in.
There were 6 people and we all supported each other really well. 5 of us stayed in the college accommodation so we all discussed the day’s events and any concerns we may have had. We were all going though exactly the same emotions/anxieties/experiences.
Bernard (the tutor) was excellent. He was very supportive and we all thoroughly enjoyed his approach to learning.

Already having studied A + P was an advantage. Being able to work at your own pace and with any amount of required support was very helpful as the only pressure, was self imposed on the Foot Health Practitioner course. I wasn’t sure what to expect on the practical, but although intensive, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Bernard (our tutor) was very helpful and I found his stories very instructive. It was a small group which appeared to get on well. We all usually met up in the evenings.
I found the course very intensive but beneficial and would have no hesitation in referring people to Stonebri9dge Associated Colleges.

The Foot Health Practitioner course materials were set out in an easy to read/understandable format with each section cementing together previous information covered. Did not feel time pressured covering assignments. Anyone who wants to apply themselves can complete this course.
This is an excellent modern facility, well equipped, clean and light with a pleasant environment.
We were al so nervous on the first day. Left have gained great friends. Only 6 people in the group. We all encouraged each other to overcome our fears. I am so glad that I chose Stonebridge Colleges in Bude. I really feel that the training given during my final week will greatly enhance my abilities as a Foot Health Practitioner. Thank you very much Bernard, you are an excellent tutor.

I was a complete beginner to Foot Health. The course was excellent and provided me with everything that I needed to know. I got everything that I wanted out of the course and thoroughly enjoyed it. The facilities were excellent. Very modern and up to date whilst being clean and comfortable to study in. Everything you needed!
Everybody was so kind and friendly. I enjoyed everyday whilst studying in Bude. Good mix of students from different backgrounds. Only six students which was good. We all still keep in touch.
Bernard Pink was a great lecturer, so professional , but also someone you could talk to. Excellent course and I would recommend the Foot Health Practitioner course to everybody of all ages.

I found the Foot Health Practitioner course difficult as it has been a whole new area for me, however I found the positive feedback from my tutor Susan Richardson helped me along. I found our practical tutor, Bernard Pink, the best I have ever trained under as he was always so calm and very encouraging. I really think he is a great tutor.
I found the facilities good, I cannot find any problems with the surroundings. I always enjoyed listening to Mr Pink. I think he is mindful and informative. The students were also nice people. Myself I find it hard in new surroundings so it took me a while to adjust, however I have to say that everyone was good and patient with my odd behaviour!
I hope to keep going at this career. I am aware that I have a lot of hills to climb, however I would like in the future to do another course in sports injuries. So if there is every an area that is of benefit to me, please keep me updated.
Thank you so much for all your help during my time with you, I hope it is not goodbye, but rather the beginning to future communication.
God Bless
