Am I required to do a placement?
As part of your course you will be required to secure a placement in a suitable environment (more advice on this can be provided by contacting the college if you are in doubt). You must have a minimum of 30 hours of teaching practice/experience as part of this qualification to meet the requirements above. You will need to provide audio visual evidence totalling 3 hours to submit to your assessor to demonstrate your competency. These should be separate occasions to show your progression and development.
